Proposal to Change ACTAA Constitution

Clause 10 (d) of the ACTAA Constitution states that

" A person's tenure in the Office of President shall be limited to not more than three (3) consecutive one (1) year terms and that person shall be ineligible for re-election to the Office of President until at least two (2) clear years have elapsed since the Office of President was last held. "

The President will move at the 2002 AGM, prior to the elections, that the ACTAA Constitution be amended by the insertion of a new clause 10 (e) as follows

"Should the current President have completed three consecutive years in Office, but no valid nominations for the Office of President have been received at the Annual General Meeting, then the current President may choose to continue to serve for a further term. "
